A Seaside Wedding Dress

 

This special gown was created as a one-of-a-kind piece for the bride. The fabric is 100% sky-blue silk chiffon. Its sheer, airy quality moves gracefully with the light and breeze by the sea.

I layered it with silk crepe satin to add a refined lustre. For the lining, I used silk habotai, ensuring a smooth and comfortable feel against the skin. Around the neckline, I added delicate ivory beading, which catches the light in a subtle, elegant way.

Two Bridesmaid Dresses

 

I designed two bridesmaid dresses for the occasion. Both are crafted from 100% purple silk chiffon, chosen for its lightness and fluid drape. Underneath, I added purple silk crepe satin and silk habotai lining, combining softness with comfort.

The first dress features white lace trimming along the bodice. This detail brightens the neckline and frames the face beautifully. The second dress has lace trimming at the waistline, which creates a flattering silhouette while keeping the design simple and graceful.

The Fabrics in Detail

 

Silk chiffon is light, sheer, and airy. It flows effortlessly and catches movement with elegance. Silk crepe satin, with its smooth surface and soft drape, brings sophistication and depth. Silk habotai, a fine and lightweight fabric, works perfectly as a lining, offering comfort and a gentle touch on the skin.

By combining these three fabrics, I achieved both comfort and luxury. Every stage, from fabric selection to final stitching, received the utmost care.

This collection was created for a beachside wedding. Against the backdrop of yachts and the sound of the waves, the sky-blue gown and the purple dresses blended naturally into the surroundings. Even in the relaxed atmosphere, the dresses maintained their elegance and presence.
