[Testimonials]

“Katsuko has been so thoughtful and patient throughout the process of making my wedding dress. Her service offered was top notch and paid such good attention to detail throughout. I can’t wait to wear my wedding dress! It’s exactly how I wanted, but couldn’t find it anywhere else! Highly recommend Katsuko. She certainly knows what she’s doing!”

Silhouette and Train

This bespoke wedding dress features an elegant A-line silhouette that gracefully follows the body while allowing fluid movement. The shape creates a timeless balance between structure and softness, flattering the figure without being restrictive.

At the back, the gown extends into a 50 cm long train, adding a touch of dramatic refinement. The train falls naturally, creating an impression of length and poise as the bride walks down the aisle. Every line of the dress emphasizes sophistication and harmony, offering a look that is both modern and enduring.

Luxurious Fabrics

The main body of the gown is crafted from 100% silk crepe satin, a fabric celebrated for its subtle sheen and supple drape. This material glides beautifully over the form, offering both comfort and a luminous quality under light.

Inside, the dress is fully lined with 100% silk habutai in a soft ivory tone. Silk habutai is exceptionally smooth and lightweight, ensuring the gown feels as luxurious on the skin as it looks from the outside. By combining these silks, I create a garment that radiates luxury while remaining breathable and wearable for an entire day of celebration.

Delicate Bodice and Sleeves

The top and sleeves of the dress are designed in soft, sheer tulle, which adds contrast to the richness of the satin. Onto this base, I carefully apply two types of fine lace: Harmony and Allanah. These laces are chosen for their intricate patterns and complementary textures, which together create depth and visual interest.

The lace placement highlights the neckline and sleeves, giving the gown a romantic yet refined character. As a bespoke wedding dressmaker, I tailor the lace work meticulously to frame and flatter each bride individually.

Refined Finishing Touches

At the back, the gown closes with a line of small silk satin–covered buttons, running from the neckline down to the waist. Each button is individually wrapped and sewn by hand, reflecting a dedication to detail and craftsmanship.

This finishing element provides both function and ornament, completing the gown with a sense of tradition and polish.
